my reason of being
Why is this site alive? It's hard to let go of something you put so much work and effort into, especially if it's over a long period of time. This site has been up and running ever since 2006. Although it seems kind of dead sometimes, I still am still creating. I just never end up uploading them because either I'm too busy, lazy or I don't think they're good enough. Even so, there are so many things we see each and everyday that inspire us. The world is so diverse and there are new things all the time. Why not show your emotions and inspiration through art then?
history
When I first heard of piczo, it was from my best friend. I mean, that's where almost everyone starts with web-design (generalization). So I thought "sweet, maybe i should try it out!" When I first started, it was a personal site back in... 2005 (totally forget what it's called) and obviously it was crappy, with the usual glitters (which I now have a passionate hate for). Then later i decided to make a help site. I was inspired by a few sites I randomly found and I thought wow, maybe I can do that! When i first started off I didn't know how to do a thing! I looked around a few help sites and it was a load of help. I still didn't know how to make a thing but i learned some HTML coding. So it developed from there, i learned how to make blends, layouts and have some decent HTML coding. it was called brendaah-x3. Then later, I started to develop a piczo site where I started making content. I basically taught myself to do everything or learned from strangers online and up until this day, I still do! Everything just grew from there : )
what's with the site name?
t - r - a - u - m - a - b - a - b - y ?!
"traumababy?! What's that supposed to mean!?" Well, I'm not quite sure either. I ran across this name after i thought my old site name "-shortshizz" sounded a bit well, stupid. So i asked my friends and unfotunately they didn't think of very good ones. So i went around to a few sites, and some of them had site namers. I was clicking, clicking, clicking and then I noticed "baby" came up a lot. I was looking for cursors that day and came across a site called "traumatic cycle" and I thought it was the most fantastic name (lol). So I put trauma and baby together to create this little site of mine. I must admit that at times, I thought this site name was terrible but I've always convinced myself to keep it.
